SENIOR MEDICAL MANAGER ONCOLOGY

For Multinational Pharmaceutical Company we are looking for

SENIOR MEDICAL MANAGER ONCOLOGY

Under the direction of the Country Medical Director, he/she acts as the first point of call for any medical activity related to the product he/she is responsible for in Oncology field, including undertaking clinical trial, scientific liaison, medical information and other project activities in accordance with the Company SOPs and International Codes of Practice; provides non-promotional, high level scientific, medical and technical support to external (Health Care Professional) and internal customers at office or field levels.

Main responsabilities:

  • In close co-ordination with existing medical information resources, respond professionally and quickly to documented unsolicited requests from the field and external stakeholders for clinical information and data in relation to disease specific questions around the product he/she is responsible for, pre-launch communication, onlabel or off-label use or any research programs
  • Deliver lectures on scientific, clinical and technical oncology topics.
  • Contribute to and support the clear articulation of a compelling brand strategy for the product he/she is responsible for across marketing, sales and medical functions.
  • Assist in the organization and scientific support of key external National and Regional events.
  • Attend appropriate scientific congresses to interact with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), develop knowledge in relevant therapy areas.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of late phase clinical trials through sponsorship of studies, to ensure successful completion of the trials and their publication. Where required, provide budget control and accountability of these programs.
  • Provide support to MSL in their scientific liaison activities as well as coordinating medical information activities.
  • Undertake publication planning, slide-deck development and internal training initiatives.
  • Provide field-based medical support to the Company’s clinical research programs as required.
  • Provide technical/medical support to Local Regulatory Affairs as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Medicine, post-graduate degree level and specialization in Oncology preferred
  • Experience within Pharmaceutical Industry preferred and/or extensive background in clinical practise.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory rules and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of, and current training in, GxP (GCP, GPvP, and other applicable instruments and regulations governing clinical research, medical information and scientific communication.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including Medical Affairs and HCPs management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
