Plant HR Senior Manager

Our Client is a Multinational Company looking for a qualified

PLANT HR SENIOR MANAGER

The ideal candidate has gained at least 7 years of experience in Human Resources Department, 3/4 of them spent in similar positions, in challenging Unions contexts.

Main Responsabilities:

  • Attract, retain and develop the best people in his/her area of responsibility, supporting and coaching the line managers.
  • In charge of the HR planning, headcount control, recruitment and downsizing
  • Assures implementation, administration and follow up of performance appraisal, job evaluation, compensation, variable salary schemes and benefits programs.
  • Implement HR policies and practices within the plant, in line with Group and Business Area guidelines and rules, in order to ensure equity and coherence among the employees.
  • Guarantee adequate support and coaching to Plant Manager and his first line in managing all the HR related processes
  • In cooperation with the line, he/she will manage industrial relations, collective bargaining negotiations and contract provisions.
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes. He/she is in charge of disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate all the activities related to Environment, Health and Safety. The RSSP directly reports to the role, as well as the Security.

Experience:

  • Deep experience of Unions Relations direct management
  • Excellent management of labour lawsuits

Required skills:

Deep knowledge of:

  • recruitment processes and techniques, including assessments, behavioural tests, etc.
  • retention and development tools (talent evaluation and review; succession plans definition; career paths building; coaching; mentoring; tutoring, etc.)
  • performance evaluation tools, salary review processes, variable salary definition and management, benefits programs
  • the main HR policies, as for instance for: company cars, compensation, recruitment, mobiles, performance evaluation, travels, variable salary

Excellent Knowledge of:

  • numerical data management and deep knowledge of labour cost and total company cost definition and calculation
  • knowledge of Italian Labour Law
  • MS Office management and knowledge, above all Excel (being able to actively use a pivot table), Word and Powerpoint
  • Active use of Outlook and Skype for Business on a daily basis

Good knowledge of:

  • payroll systems: he/she must be able to read and explain a payslip to the employees
  • no-competition agreements and clauses

Will be considered a plus:

  • Being a certified coach (ICF)
  • Being certified in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming)
  • Being a certified OPQ32/Verify tests assessor
  • Knowledge of Success Factor website’s platform
  • Knowledge and management of Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) tool
  • HR experience in multinational companies
  • HR experience in manufacturing plants no less than 250 employees

The role reports hierarchically to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Global HR Director – Operations & HQ Functions
