CATEGORY MANAGER EPC
Mission
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager in solid line, the incumbent will support and coordinate procurement/sourcing activities for engineering and operations across the Group.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and execute the procurement activity for selected strategic materials including CapEx and special spare parts.
- Manage the selection of suppliers with both engineering and operation departments and finalize the vendor list.
- Structure Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and make the break-down of the costs for the proper allocation of total cost ownership (TCO) in partnership with engineering and operation departments.
- Gather data and conduct analysis to determine demand for equipment, materials and services, by also assuring that purchased goods and services are obtained on a timely basis at lowest TCO to production plants.
- Lead the negotiation process for contracts’ assignment by working jointly with legal department for contracts’ definition and finalization.
- Serve as focal point of contact to expedite deliveries, ensure proper coordination and resolve issues and disputes.
- Manage claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement gained in an international context.
- Sound understanding of project controls, general business financials and negotiations strategies.
- Filed experience as Project Manager is a plus.
- Proven advance user level capabilities with all Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to have a solid understanding of EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contract terms and conditions is preferred.
- Command of English.
- Willingness to travel and work abroad for the 50% of the time.
