FINANCE DIRECTOR

To grow and develop Italian telecommunication’s business by providing high quality financial and commercial leadership, Our Client is looking for a

FINANCE DIRECTOR

The position will play a key role in ensuring a consistent and effective approach is taken to evaluating and progressing new opportunities, and that these new opportunities are effectively integrated into the Client’s global  organisation.

Primary Responsibilities: :

• Responsible for providing financial oversight and leadership to the Italian businesses
• Responsible for the effective evaluation and execution of new opportunities
• Oversee the funding approval process to control the money invested in the business
• Responsible for Long Term Plan and an effective set-up of the Italian business
• Support European growth opportunities on ad-hoc basis
• Responsible for risk and audit in Italy
• The role will entail broad finance and operational responsibilities in a growing organisation
• The role might face competing leadership priorities between Group and Italy Management Team

Measures of Success:

• Creation of a consistent framework for strategic partnerships to accelerate growth plans
• Financial and commercial support in the set-up of the Italian business
• Financial leadership and support for high value initiatives as they arise in Italy
• Support of the Commercial Finance agenda in the Italian business
• Leadrship in the thinking and execution of funding arrangements in Italy

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience of leading key corporate finance initiatives including acquisitions or partnerships
• Experience of Telecommunications industry
• Outstanding modelling and analytical skills
• Experience in strategic planning process
• Experience working across multiple geographies
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with senior executives and to influence decisions and outcomes
• Strong academic background and at least degree level qualification. MBA or equivalent preferred
• Certified Chartered Accountant is a preferential requirement
