KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – NET-ZERO SERVICES

The Key Account Manager – Net-Zero Services (KAM NZS) is responsible to build and execute a sales strategy centred around decarbonization for a select number of targeted business customers located in Italy which are sometimes part of global acting customers. We are seeking a candidate with a proactive mindset, previous experience in energy, sustainability or decarbonization advisory sales, used to interact with counterpart’s Executive and C-Suite, managing customers relationship out of country boundaries when necessary

Key Objectives:

The KAM NZS will implement a sales strategy on the selected target accounts ensuring intimate relationship with customers’ Executive and C-Level. The KAM NZS is expected to execute the sales strategy within the Italian perimeter, but also coordinating across all company countries leveraging local salesforce and supports with the final aim of maximize customer value creation. A heavy aptitude to navigating complex sales in rapidly growing business is therefore fundamental to succeed. This role requires a motivated and professional self-starter who can prospect for new business effectively and is a good listener, someone who is comfortable in interfacing with Executive and C-Level, focused on constantly meeting customer’s needs and with a strong customer centric mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a list of prospect business customers, exceed required levels of outreach via phone, email and other means of prospecting, effectively communicate our company Advisory Services value proposition, qualify and efficiently close business opportunities with new and existing clients.,
  • Implement a disciplined sales process to consistently exceed assigned objectives (Total Contracted Revenues and Annual Recurring Revenues closed), growing in sales revenue and pipeline
  • Create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers
  • Cultivate renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities with our customers
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all B2B solutions, also promoting them to our customers
  • Collaborate with the Local and Global Team to grow in our business
  • Be the expert on the customer, their business and their opportunities
  • Be the voice of the customer internally
  • Aptitude to create a team selling approach and act as a bridge between customers organization and Advisory Services technical, service and sales specialists.
  • Ability to manage simultaneously multiple short- and long-term projects and relationships.
  • Ensure timely, precise and exhausting information flows on customer relationship

Preferred Qualification

  • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree required
  • At least 7 years of sales experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a B2B sales environment, global environment would be a plus
  • Previous experience on energy, sustainability or decarbonization advisory sales is highly desirable
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
